My Journey of Grace Continues

My Saving Faith in Jesus
I remember the place... I remember the moment... I remember my brokenness.

In coming to Jesus Christ for Salvation, I found the key for me was to come to the end of myself. I had to hit bottom in my own strength and wisdom, before I saw my need for a Savior. Friends were praying for me and showing me the way through a Navigator's Bible Study. When I laid my pride at the foot of the cross and told my Heavenly Father that I needed His forgiveness for all my sins and the grief that I caused others... I looked up and there was Jesus ready to receive me and give me a new life in Him. I prayed to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior at Pinebrook Bible Camp in the Pocono Mountains, located in the state of Pennsylvania, at age twenty five. A few months later, I was baptized and joined the Berean Bible Fellowship Church, in Stroudsburg, PA. My foundation is God's Word and my faith is in the finished work of Jesus Christ. (1 John 5:10-13)

My Journey in Jesus
I have been in business most of my life and also pastored a small Baptist church in Remington, Indiana (Remington Baptist Church, SBC) and retired to Spring Hill, Florida in 2014 with my wife, Cindy of 47 plus years. Cindy and I both came to know the Lord at age 25 and have been privileged to serve on three 18 month mission terms here in the USA. Twice working with youth in rural upstate New York (High Braes Refuge, Redfield, NY) and another time working with Christian Business Men (CBMC) in Orlando, Florida. One of my greatest joys has been working in youth ministries with my wife over the years. On April 22, 2015 Cindy went to be with the Lord and I have since been remarried to Joy, a special gift from God to finish my race for Him... "My journey of grace continues".
As the years go by, I find that I always need to be learning more and trusting God more.
☆ More of His voice in my ear
☆ More of His tears on my face
☆ More of His praise on my lips
☆ More of his death in my life
☆ More of His toil on my hands
☆ More of His hope in my grief
☆ More of His fruit in my service
☆ More of His love in everything
I'm looking forward to finishing strong for Jesus in our new home base in Spring Hill, Florida. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

It's not about how we began... it's how we finish.
